Our primary goal as the association is to be the voice of Gaza, which is struggling for survival under attacks, blockade, and poverty, and to deliver urgent humanitarian aid to those in need. Simultaneously, we act with the vision of contributing to the defense of justice, human rights, and freedoms worldwide. In this direction, we continue not only urgent aid but also humanitarian aid projects, educational activities, income generation projects, and projects for the reconstruction of Gaza.
With this consciousness and responsibility, we extend our hand to those in need this Ramadan, as in every Ramadan. We deliver food, iftar, zakat, eid gifts (bayramlik), and sadaqah support to those in need, primarily in Palestine and where Palestinians live in Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, and Syria, as well as in the African continent, Afghanistan, and Yemen. These aids, realized with the support of benefactors, become a source of hope and morale for our brothers and sisters trying to live under difficult conditions.
Aid Activities in 13 Different Regions in Ramadan 2026
In Ramadan 2026, we aim to expand our aid activities to a wider geography. In this context, we plan to carry out humanitarian aid activities primarily in Gaza, as well as in Turkey, Syria, Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon, Yemen, Afghanistan, Indonesia, Bangladesh, and Venezuela, and in Somalia, Burundi, Central African Republic, Sudan, and Egypt on the African continent.
Throughout this Ramadan, by realizing Iftar organizations, Ramadan food parcels, Fitra and Fidyah distributions, delivery of Zakat trusts to those in need, and Eid gift support for orphans and children in need, we will keep the abundance of Ramadan alive in oppressed geographies.
While drawing attention to the vital importance of Ramadan activities due to the ongoing blockade and deepening humanitarian crisis, especially in Gaza, we are carrying out intensive work in the field for families experiencing great difficulties in accessing basic food.
We believe that these works we carry out for millions of people greeting Ramadan under the shadow of war, poverty, and displacement are not just an aid activity, but also an indication of brotherhood, hope, and human dignity.
As Mavi Marmara, with the support of benefactors, we will continue to set tables, touch hearts, and expand solidarity in oppressed geographies in Ramadan 2026.
