Water Well
A significant portion of the world's population is forced to live with clean water issues and the associated health problems.
Approximately 2 billion people consume water that does not meet hygiene standards.
Drought and the many diseases it causes, along with the struggles to access water that often falls below hygiene standards, lead to the death of millions of people in Africa and Asia. To address this fundamental need, we are drilling water wells and continuing our efforts to provide clean water to those in need in Africa and Asia.
Our Efforts to Provide Clean Water
We continue our efforts primarily to provide clean water to the needy people of Africa.
Technical Specifications of Water Wells
- The water wells are constructed with an average depth of 50-100 meters. A pump is used in the upper structure to supply water for people, and a water trough is also constructed for animals.
- With your support, 300 to 500 people benefit daily from the water wells we open.
- The target countries for water well projects are Chad, Ghana, Mali, Guinea, Niger, Cameroon, Sierra Leone, Benin, Sudan, Ethiopia, Somalia, Tanzania, and Kenya.
In addition to water wells, we plan to serve humanity by providing more comprehensive, safer, and deeper water sources.
Most of the water wells are drilled in rural areas, far from capitals and centers, where the need is greatest. This necessitates the monitoring, control, and supervision of the projects.
Necessary analyses are conducted to ensure the water is healthy, and the projects are carried out in cooperation with local authorities as much as possible.
Lifespan and Warranty Period of Water Wells
The lifespan of water wells can vary depending on underground water reserves, climate changes, usage intensity, and external factors (war, natural disasters, etc.).
Due to reasons such as climate conditions, the average lifespan of a standard water well is between 3 to 10 years. The warranty period for water well projects is 2 years.
You can sponsor a water well individually, or you can do so with a group of friends or relatives. If this is not possible, you can donate to the Water Well Fund within your means, and once sufficient funds are collected, a new water well can be drilled, or you can support the maintenance and repair costs of existing water wells.
