Humanitarian Aid
Humanitarian aid involves delivering various materials, services, in-kind, and cash donations to individuals and communities facing extraordinary situations such as war, natural disasters, drought, and political instability. The goal is to prevent the unlimited extent of disasters and to emerge from these situations with minimal damage. The primary recipients of humanitarian aid are the homeless, refugees, victims of war and natural disasters, and people in need during droughts and famines.
The Mavi Marmara Freedom and Solidarity Association is a significant aid organization that makes a serious effort to identify the places where humanitarian aid is needed and to meet the needs in the most accurate way. Our Association, especially in crisis areas and emergencies, works to deliver aid quickly and effectively. It serves as an important intermediary to direct the international community to where humanitarian aid is needed and to ensure its effective distribution.
Reaching the oppressed who have lost their homeland due to war, healing patients suffering from epidemic diseases due to lack of water, helping families experiencing hunger due to famine, befriending people who have lost their homes and families due to natural disasters, and healing the wounds of all victims affected by such calamities are the sole purposes of the Mavi Marmara Freedom and Solidarity Association.
The Mavi Marmara Freedom and Solidarity Association conducts all these aid activities with the principle of standing by the oppressed, regardless of religion, language, or race. With thousands of volunteers who have adopted the principle of spending their wealth in the way of God, our Association considers it its duty to empathize with anyone in need, wherever they may be.
Focused on humanitarian aid, the Mavi Marmara Freedom and Solidarity Association operates systematically with its years of experience to distribute humanitarian aid professionally and deliver it to the right places. In addition to opening water wells, schools, building houses, and countless permanent works, our Association also implements significant projects in Africa and the Middle East, particularly in the areas of health, food, and income provision. In summary, our Association has been striving for over 10 years to deliver humanitarian aid wherever it can reach.
