As Mavi Marmara Association, we proudly participated in the 4th International NGO Fair, held under the slogan “The Islamic World Meets in Istanbul.” This prestigious event brought together approximately 200 Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) from 60 countries.
At the fair, held in Istanbul, we had the opportunity to showcase our humanitarian aid efforts and projects. While presenting our activities at this global gathering of NGOs, we also raised awareness about Palestine and discussed international humanitarian initiatives.
Throughout the event, we shared details about our ongoing projects in the fields of humanitarian aid, education, health, and social development with visitors. Additionally, we engaged in meaningful conversations about the historical significance of the Mavi Marmara Ship and the mission of the Vicdan Ship, which has been anchored at Haydarpaşa Port for nearly 130 days to raise awareness about the genocide in Gaza.
During the sessions and panels held at the fair, emphasis was placed on the importance of collaboration for NGOs to play a more effective role on a global scale. Our participation in this event marked a significant step toward promoting our association’s mission on international platforms and contributing to solutions for humanity’s shared challenges.
