Mavi Marmara Signs New Protocol to Support Education in Gaza

As part of its ongoing efforts to contribute to the sustainability of education in Gaza, the Mavi Marmara Association has signed a cooperation protocol with Eğitim Bir-Sen Branch No. 1 for the Tent Education Campus Project.

Through the signed protocol, the project aims to provide children and young people in Gaza—where the educational infrastructure has been severely damaged due to war and destruction—with safe, structured, and accessible learning environments. The project is regarded as a significant step toward safeguarding the right to education in the region and ensuring the continuity of educational activities.

Previously, through the Tent Education Campus established in western Gaza, the Mavi Marmara Association enabled thousands of students to reconnect with education and contributed to the continuation of the educational process for many students from primary to secondary school levels. The newly signed protocol is intended to strengthen existing educational initiatives and contribute to the establishment of new learning spaces.

Officials of the Mavi Marmara Association emphasized that this meaningful cooperation holds great significance for the sustainability of education in Gaza and expressed their gratitude to Eğitim Bir-Sen Branch No. 1 for its support of the project.

It was also expressed that this step, taken to help build the future of children in Gaza, is hoped to bring positive and beneficial outcomes.
