Mavi Marmara Delivered Humanitarian Aid to Hundreds of Families in Sudan
The ongoing war in Sudan is having an increasingly devastating impact on the civilian population. As a result of months-long fighting, thousands of families have been displaced, while access to food and basic necessities has become severely limited. Security challenges and inadequate infrastructure are further exacerbating the humanitarian crisis.
Despite all these challenges, the Mavi Marmara Freedom and Solidarity Association continued its humanitarian relief efforts in Sudan. As part of the operations carried out in regions heavily affected by the war, comprehensive aid programs were implemented to support families in need.
Within the scope of field activities:
-
Food parcels were distributed to 400 families,
-
1,000 people were provided with hot meals,
-
Zakat assistance was delivered to 200 families.

The assistance provided proved vital for families who had lost their livelihoods due to the conflict and were struggling to meet their basic needs.
Despite ongoing security challenges, transportation difficulties, and limited resources in the region, Mavi Marmara teams continued their field operations with determination to reach those in need.
The Mavi Marmara Freedom and Solidarity Association aims to continue its humanitarian relief efforts in the coming period in order to contribute to alleviating the humanitarian crisis in Sudan.
