In Gaza, we have launched our charity kitchen with the capacity to provide hot meals to 10,000 people daily, with the aim of alleviating the humanitarian crisis caused by Israel’s continued attacks despite the ceasefire.

Located in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood in western Gaza City, our charity kitchen began operating in the Barcelona Park area, where displaced Palestinian families have sought refuge. The opening ceremony was attended by local representatives, along with children carrying Turkish and Palestinian flags.

“Through this charity kitchen, we aim to demonstrate tangible solidarity in response to the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza and to provide hot meals to our displaced brothers and sisters, particularly throughout the month of Ramadan. With a daily production capacity of approximately 10,000 meals, half of the meals prepared in our kitchen will be distributed in Gaza City and the northern areas, while the other half will be delivered to the central and southern regions.

While continuing our humanitarian aid efforts at multiple locations across Gaza, particularly at the Barcelona Park Camp, we are not limiting our work solely to food assistance. We also continue to implement various projects in humanitarian, cultural, and social fields.

Mustafa Kazaat, a Member of the Gaza Municipality Council who attended the opening, emphasized that the official and civil support provided by Türkiye to the people of Gaza carries great significance, and highlighted that such solidarity is vital in the face of ongoing attacks and ceasefire violations.
