Freedom Watch Ends On Its 150th Days!

We continue our efforts without interruption to heal the wounds of the people of Gaza and rekindle their hopes for the future following the ceasefire. As part of these efforts, we participated in the Gaza: Beat of the Heart conference held in Jordan, attended by numerous international civil society organizations and political leaders.

In Gaza, the group most deeply affected by the 15-month-long Israeli attacks has undoubtedly been the children. Thousands of children lost their lives during this time, while nearly 40,000 were left orphaned. The greatest impact of this process on children, however, has been psychological.

The humanitarian crisis in Gaza is taking its heaviest toll on civilians. We are steadfast in delivering aid to those most affected by this crisis. Previously, we dispatched 70 tons of food aid from our warehouse in Jordan to Gaza. Now, we take pride in expanding these humanitarian efforts by sending a new aid convoy to Gaza, including 3,600 food parcels, 120 tents, and 2,200 blankets.

Despite the protest continuing day and night for 90 days, there was no progress regarding the Conscience Ship's departure. To draw attention to this Freedom Vigil and to ensure the Conscience Ship could set sail for freedom, the "Grand Gaza March" was held on December 1, 2024.

As Mavi Marmara Association, we proudly participated in the 4th International NGO Fair, held under the slogan “The Islamic World Meets in Istanbul.” This prestigious event brought together approximately 200 Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) from 60 countries.

The Gaza Genocide, which began on October 7, continues with all its brutality. While this genocide persists, Zionist entities carry on their lobbying activities, gathering both financial and political support to sustain their actions.
