On the morning of Eid, we knocked on the door of Aunt Ayşe, who is trying to be both a mother and a father to her two children in a container city in Hatay after losing her husband in the earthquake. We left the fresh Qurbani meat, the trust of our donors, on the table of this small family who deeply felt the sorrow of Eid amidst their months-long struggle for survival.
With tears in her eyes as she took the package, Aunt Ayşe said, "I thought we were forgotten as time passed... But this knock on the door today meant much more than meat; it meant 'we are still a big family' to me. May Allah bless those who put a smile on my children's faces." At that moment, we felt once again how Qurbani turns into an embracing hand of compassion in our own homeland, for our own people.

As Mavi Marmara Association, during our 2025 domestic Qurbani campaign, we delivered your trusts to those in need all across our country. We multiplied the Eid joy of thousands of households by prioritizing our citizens living in container cities in disaster zones, orphanages, low-income families, and students in need.
Solidarity Starts at Home
With the belief that "He is not a believer whose stomach is filled while his neighbor goes hungry," we start our mobilization of goodness from our own hometowns, from the neighborhoods right next to us. It is one of our greatest responsibilities to bring abundance to the tables of our citizens struggling with economic difficulties, the scars left by disasters, and poverty.
In the 2026 Eid al-Adha, through our branches across Turkey and hundreds of volunteers, we continue to deliver your trusts directly to the right addresses, without any intermediaries.
How Does the Process Work?
Priority Distribution Points
In our domestic operations, our priorities are low-income families registered with our association, earthquake survivors, orphanages, and those in need in rural areas.
Hygienic and Islamic Slaughter
After passing the inspection of veterinarians approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, the Qurbani animals are slaughtered in modern slaughterhouses in strict compliance with Islamic principles.
Fast and Direct Delivery
The slaughtered meat is portioned without delay according to cold chain rules. On the same day, our field volunteers go door-to-door to deliver the meat by hand to the families.
Transparency and SMS Notification
The moment your slaughter process takes place in Turkey, an SMS notification is sent to your mobile phone. Our donors are assured that their trusts have reached their destination.
