The continuous escalation of attacks by the occupying Israeli forces after October 7th has worsened the situation in Gaza with each passing day. Millions of people have been displaced, forced to flee and leave their homes to save their lives. As a result of these attacks, more than 50,000 Gazans have lost their lives, while hundreds of thousands have been injured.

A significant portion of these injuries has led to permanent limb loss and disabilities. Children, women, and the elderly have been among the most affected groups by these attacks.

As Mavi Marmara Association, we have previously delivered essential aid such as hot meals, baby formula, food parcels, water tank distributions, and clothing to ease the lives of the people of Gaza.

We are now launching the Orthotics and Prosthetics Aid Project to help our brothers and sisters in Gaza who have lost limbs in the attacks. This project aims to help them regain physical independence, return to their daily lives, and hold on to life once again.
